Vision TV's weekly human affairs show, "It's About Time" will feature a story on how some organizations are using the internet to fight for social justice. This week's episode features an interview with Carole and Thubten Samdup of the Canada Tibet Committee.
When China invaded Tibet almost 40 years ago, this Buddhist community scattered. Today they meet and strategize electronically over the Internet. Carole successfully used this technolgy to prepare for the recent women's conference in Beijing and to communicate with her "home base" from China.
The program airs Wednesday night at 10:30pm Eastern and Pacific. If you fall in another time zone check your local listings for the time and channel for your area.
