In adopting the report by Spanish Socialist Rosa Migueles Ramos, the European Parliament approved, with two amendments, the reform of the Fisheries Advisory Committee. He called on the Commission to put together an annual report on the contents and the conclusions of the debates held within the Committee. EUROPE recalls that this reform, the last action by Mrs Bonino as Commissioner, is based on a new structure (plenary assembly and working groups) as well as on the changes in the representation of the professional organisations and participation by other sectors concerned (consumers, environmental).
