The Nordic Forum in Abo, Findland was a women's conference organised by the Council of Nordic Ministers and NGOs. The conference was also a regional meeting for the forth UN Women Conference in Beijing 1995.

There were two delegation groups from China, one official and one Chinese NGO. There were two members from the Tibetan Women's Association, Switzerland, one from United Represented People's Organisation and one from Norwegian Tibet Committee and two non-tibetan women representing Swedish Tibetan Community.
