September 8. H.H. the Dalai Lama arrived Mongolia on Tuesday (6 Sept.), amidst thousands of thrilled believers, despite Chinese threat. On Wednesday (7 Sept.), He preached to 20,000 believers at the Gangdan Tekchinleng Monastery, the inviter and Mongolia's main monastery in Ulan Bator. On Sept. 10, the Dalai Lama will be attending a conference where there will be an exchange of views with Mongolian scholars on the present day world and the significance of religion for world peace. The same day he is scheduled to give a public talk and address a press conference and will be leaving Mongolia on Sept. 11 for United Kingdom. In U.K. the Dalai Lama will lead The John Main Seminar, an Inter-faith dialogue on Tibetan Buddhist and Christian Meditation. On Sept. 17, He will officially open and consecrate the Tibet House which accommodates The Office of Tibet and the Tibet House Trust.
