New York, November 6. Sharon Stone, the celebrated Hollywood actress, highlighted the cuisine and culture of Tibet during the three-day Big Feast in Miami, Florida, held from November 4 to 6. She launched a campaign to write a Tibetan cookbook in her efforts to help preserve Tibetan culture and in her hope that world famous chefs will take Tibetan dishes from her cookbook into their restaurants. "Cook for Peace," the central attraction of the Big Feast on the Beach, featured traditional Tibetan cuisine prepared by Tibetan chefs flown from New York. The "Cook for Peace" tent not only featured a variety of Tibetan dishes but also served as an information booth on the current situation in Tibet. Sharon Stone held a press conference to announce the campaign to write the definitive Tibetan cookbook. She appeared with Rinchen Dharlo, His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Representative to the Americas.
