Washington, November 7. A.M. Rosenthal to Receive the "The Light of Truth Award" at Dinner to Benefit the International Campaign for Tibet Entertainment to Include Performances Arranged by Marvin Hamlisch, Silent Art Auction A.M. Rosenthal, Pulitzer Prize winner, international journalist, columnist and former Executive Editor of the New York Times, will receive "The Light of Truth" Award at a dinner to benefit the International Campaign for Tibet. Mr. Rosenthal is being recognized for his efforts over the past ten years to educate the public about the plight of the Tibetan people. The award itself, a butter lamp from the private collection of H.H. the Dalai Lama, will be accepted on his behalf by his son Andrew, as Mr. Rosenthal is recuperating from heart surgery. Richard Gere and Harrison Ford, and various well know collectors, will round out the evening. Peter Max is donating several images of the Dalai Lama, which will now take on special significance since the Chinese government has once again announced
