New Delhi, November 22. Italy has agreed to offer one billion lire ($630,000) in aid to Tibetan exiles living near the northern Indian home of their spiritual leader Dalai Lama, the Indian government said on Tuesday. New Delhi and Rome signed a memorandum of understanding providing for a technical cooperation grant to improve health services, particularly for children, in Dharamsala, near the Dalai Lama's home in exile, it said in a statement.
