Ottawa: The Canadian Beijing Facilitating Committee (CBFC) announced today that it has serious concerns about the prospects for success of Forum 95, the NGO Forum at the Fourth United Nations World Conference on Women, scheduled for China in September.

"It is only three months away and we have no appropriate site for the NGO Forum," said CBFC Co-Chair Charlotte Thibault. "If an appropriate site is not found by May 24," said Thibault, "the Fourth World Conference, including both the NGO Forum and the official Conference, should be moved out of China."
