Thursday, 13 July - The abduction of a six-year old Tibetan boy, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, and his parents, by the Chinese authorities after his recognition by the Dalai Lama as the latest reincarnation of the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Panchen Lama, who died in 1989, was taken up in a resolution calling on China to end its violations of human rights and to release the boy and his family.
