Thank you to those who have responded to our "HELP KEEP CTA ON LINE" appeal. Some of you have inquired if CTC can issue tax receipts for donations made to this project.

Canada Tibet Committee does not have a charitable status, therefore, we are not in a position to issue tax receipts. However, if you must have a tax receipt, then my suggestion is that you should contact groups or dharma centers associated with Tibet in your jurisdiction and ask them if they could channel the donation for you.

Donors in the USA who wish to receive tax receipts can send their donation through TIBET FUND in New York at 241 East 32nd Street, New York, NY 10016. Otherwise, we prefer if people sent in their donation directly to CTC National Office in Montreal, at the following address, for proper control.

Proper records will be kept of all the donations received by the Canada Tibet Committee for this project and the donors list will be posted to WTN.
