Actor HARRISON FORD is making sure senators don't forget the "courageous people of Tibet". He went to Washington yesterday (07SEP95) to speak before the East Asian and Pacific Affairs subcommittees. Ford told them not to forget Tibetans in their efforts to repair the strained relationship with China. China annexed Tibet in 1951 and Ford says the cause of Tibetan people "touches at the core" of American values. The exiled Tibetan religious leader, the DALAI LAMA, is to visit Washington next week.
