Dear Tibetan delegates to the Beijing Conference,
Please accept my heartiest congratulations on behalf of the Assembly of Tibetan People's Deputies, Dharamsala, for your success in highlighting the situation of Tibet women in Tibet despite all the intimidating obstacles that China placed on every inch of your way to Beijing and throughout your stay in Huairou. The members of the parliament express wholehearted solidarity in your display of courage and initiatives in highlighting the situation of the Tibetan women under Chinese occupation rule.
Your exemplary efforts in Huairou in connection with the Fourth World Conference on Women, Beijing, will have a definite, positive influence on Tibetans both in and outside Tibet whose freedom we all yearn and fight for. And, of course, your efforts have received unprecedented international mass media coverage, resulting in considerably increased international awareness of the situation in Tibet and support to the Tibetan cause.
We take this opportunity to express our unequivocal moral support in all your efforts in Huairou and for the Beijing Conference.
Yours sincerely,
signed
Tsering Dorje
Parliament Secretary
