BEIJING, October 12, AsiaInfo Services, Inc. -- Major companies and financial groups from Japan, USA, Germany, Holland, Canada, Swiss, UK, South Korea and other countries in Southeast Asia are racing to enter China's electronic market.
Contracts for 51 projects have been signed between the Ministry of Chinese Posts and Telecommunications and IBM, FUJITSU, Siemens and others with a total contractual value of US $650 million. Northern Telecom from Canada will invest US $130-150 million in China's electronic field. These actions will stimulate the development of China's electronics industries.
