Today is the fourth day of the six Tibetans' hunger strike in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City. All six hunger strikers report that they are feeling ok and are in high spirits; they are determined to continue. Organizers Namkha Tenzin and T.T. Karma Chopel are moving ahead with their efforts and remain very busy. Media coverage includes broadcasts on German and Japanese television, as well as an interview for Italian radio by the Transnational Radical Party. CNN also has been to the site, asking questions and taking pictures.
Supporters of the Tibetan cause are asked to write letters to their heads of state and governmental representatives, as well as to the Secretary General of the United Nations.
