BEIJING, Oct. 27, Asiainfo Services, Inc. -- The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank, announced three new investments on Oct. 26 in China's chemical, auto and agribusiness sectors totaling $168.7 million.
The three investment projects include a new joint venture to produce radial and bias tires, a plant making polyester chips and yarn, and a food-processing and freezing plant, said Jannik Lindbaek, IFC's executive vice-president.
