BEIJING, Oct. 30, Asiainfo Services, Inc. -- BASF AG, the largest German chemical firm, is planning to make a huge investment for setting up a large joint venture in Nanjing, China. The chairman of the board of BASF announced last week that the investment amount of this project will be nearly several million DM.
BASF AG's has made a total investment of 6 hundred million DM in China, ranking first among foreign investors here in the chemical industry. BASF AG has established six joint ventures in China, so far.
