I am extremely happy to learn that Medicins Sans Frontieres has been awarded this year's Nobel Prize for Peace. I have always had tremendous admiration for the wonderful humanitarian work that your organization does in developing countries as well as in areas all over the world that have been affected by natural and man-made disasters.

It is my hope that this recognition by the Noble Peace Prize Committee will give the members of your organization renewed inspiration to continue your great works.

I would like to take this opportunity to express once again my gratitude for your help inside Tibet.
