DEPUTIES FROM ALL POLITICAL PARTIES WILL COLLECT SIGNATURES IN SUPPORT OF

THE TRANSNATIONAL RADICAL PARTY APPEAL. THE PRESIDENT OF THE PARLIAMENT OF

ASTURIAS WILL BE THE CHAIRMAN OF THE ACT.

The Spanish radical member and Town Councillor, Jose' Surez Arias, from

Asturias (Autonomous Community of nothern Spain) has organized for the next

16th of november, in Oviedo, a journey devoted to the Transnational Radical

Party's initiative on the former Yugoslavia.

In the morning, signatures in favor of the appeal on the tribunal that will

judge war crimes committed in former Yugoslavia will be collected by

deputies from all the political parties.

In the afternoon, a public act will be held. The President of the

Parliament of Asturias, Mr. Eugenio Carvajal, deputy of the Socialist

Federation of Asturias, will be the chairman of the act. Mr. Carvajal has

already signed the appeal.

A press conference will take place. All the press will assist to the

gathering. Thereafter, a debate moderated by a Professor of Law of the

University of Oviedo will be held. There will be discussed the situation of

the Former Yugoslavia, the urgency of pressing the United Nations to start

off legal procedures to judge war crimes, as well as the Radical Party

programme and its transnational initiatives.
