X-Comment: The Transnational Radical Party List
When we are dealing with people's lives, it seems quite reasonable to make the
move from a reasonable justification to one based in necessity. Do we NEED to
kill these people? Justifiable homicide is a valid defense if the killer
can prove they had a need, that thier life was in immediate danger such that
thier only choice was to kill. Why hold our government to a lesser standard?
In reading the recent post about Singapore I realized how self centered this
debate has been The United States has an exemplary justice system compared
to many, if not most, nations. The Radical Party's call to end DP is a world
wide effort because of the sorts of abuses it invites in less than scrupulous
leagl systems world wide. Even if it could be an effective deterrent in this
country we are ignoring the places in the world where DP brings about great
evil. If Dp is not necassary in this country, wouldn't be worth it to
abolish it if only to help end DP world wide, saving millions of innocent
lives?
