I wish to acknowledge with thanks the receipt of your letter of 12 August 1997 to which you kindly enclosed a copy of International Campaign for the Establishment of the International Criminal Court in 1998.

The establishment of an International Criminal Court is, indeed, one of the major topics the United Nations deals with on a daily basis. The Government of the Principality of Monaco is not only extremely interested in this matter, but also most willing to contribute with all the available means to the realization of this project. I am therefore most grateful to you for sending this very informative book, which, I am sure, will be of great use to the Permanent Mission of the Principality of Monaco.

While thanking you for including our Mission on your mailing list, I would be very interested in receiving the forthcoming conclusions of the regional Conferences which will be organized in Malta, next September and in Senegal in January 1998.
