Mr. Chairman,

Taking into account the significant progress achieved during this year's sessions, the Greek Delegation is convinced that the resolution on this item should provide for the definitive holding of the Diplomatic Conference in Rome, in June/July 1998, in order to finalize and adopt the statute of the International Criminal Court.
