The 54th meeting of the Preparatory Committee on the Establishment of an

International Criminal Court will take place on Monday, 1 December 1997,

at 10 a.m. in Conference Room 1. The Working Group on international

cooperation and judicial assistance will meet in the morning in Conference

Room 1, following the adjournment of the 54th meeting of the Preparatory

Committee. The Working Group on general principles of criminal law will

meet at 3 p.m. in Conference Room 1.

Conference

A conference in support of the establishment in 1998 of an international

criminal court, sponsored by the Permanent Mission of New Zealand to the

United Nations, organized by No Peace Without Justice, the International

Rescue Committee and the Women's Commission for Refugee Women and

Children, will be held on Monday, 1 December 1997, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in

Conference Room 2.

government-NGO informal dialogues. The Preparatory Committee on the

Establishment of an International Criminal Court will meet from 1-12
