ESPERANTO: RADICALS AT THE CONGRESS OF UKRAINIAN ESPERANTISTS

(Kiev, March 21-22, 1992) - Two Radical members from Kharkov - Tamara Kostjuk and Olga Saulenko - who are also members of Ukrainia Esperanto Asocio (Ukrainian Esperanto Association) took part at the 3rd Congress of UKREA in Kiev. During their interventions at the congress Radicals explained about aims and activities of the Radical Party, including RP's position in favour of this world language, and distributed some tens of "New Party" newspapers in Russian and Esperanto.

UKREA unites 20 esperantists' clubs in different Ukrainian cities and has about 400 members. It was founded three years ago in Kiev and is a member of UEA (World Esperanto Association). At this UKREA's congress it's president, Evgenij Kovtonjuk, was elected for the next year again.

About 30 members of the Esperanto Club "Teorio de Felico" in Kharkov are also members of the Radical Party.
