Today appears on the daily paper "La Stampa", the news of the umpteenth

executed victim. It doesn't matter, in my opinion, if that person were

more or less Nazi. The evidence he is a victim comes from his being

executed. What is incredible, is the fact that those who suggest new

Norimberga proceedings, don't realize that what is helpful to stop war,

it is not the applying of old rule, defining a person persecutor or victim,

because the only fact that a person or nation, it doesn't matter, came

officialy tagged, in this world around us and especially nowadays, will

be elaborated as a justicialist permission.

Everybody knows, that this generates the defeat on both sides.

In a pair, group or ethnical relation especially the advanced sentence

must be kept out, Bateson would be saying "to remove face", otherwise, the

reaction, from the world or surrounding group fixed by the proceedings mass,

will consequently act , or the condemned will be induced in a murderous

intente. I consider absolutely stupid and inadequate that proposal.

To evoke this type of historical need equals to break an alliance. Of ethics

nature and consisting in the conviction that everyone however bad he may be,

has the right to repent in his life, to remedy with his own work.

The fact that an ex-nazi has been slaughtered on his landing, proves that

who is governing mass proceedings that induce someone to take the law in to

his own hands, are those who affect on the public information.

So, point out with collecting signatures, publicity in Vienna, this proposal,

is pure madness. You can find the evidence in what I am saying by searching

in every experiences lived by a skilled man in psycotherapy and social

psychiatry...

After all, the man who did justice to the nazi, has made it on the grounds

of an exactly idea, to be justify by the mass. In fact he has been

waiting an epoch to make his revenge...only when his conscience has been

feeling arranged, for dynamics of elaboration and pathological nature,

to feel himself "less guilty", he carried out his idea.

Gandhi has been killed in the same way.
