INFORMATION BY YUGOSLAV AGENCY, TANJUG, ABOUT TRANSBALCANIC RAILWAY.

Belgrade, July 11, 1993. Bulgarian tranporter organization lose every day USD 6.000 on account of embargo against Yugoslavia.

Ministry of transport Kiril Ermenkov declares that mostly is truck railway and then autotransport. He said that expects until the end of the year that debt of bulgarian railway will grow over USD 56.000.000.

Somehow, overfulfilment of difficulties that the railway is, Ermenkov said, that it is necessary as soon as possible to connect the bulgarian-macedonian railways. It's still the question, that where will be the connection of bulgarian-macedonian railway ? Will it pass through Kiustendil-Kriva Palanka-Skopje or through Blagoevgrad-Delchevo-Kocani ? The experts of the state in Sofia consider that the first variation will agreed.

The day 7.7.1993 in Blagoevgrad were the representatives of macedonian towns of Bitola, Delchevo, Shtip, Kocan and they implicate that the tranbalcanic railway which will continue till Draca in Albania will pass through their places.

In Sofia is reported that 350 members of parliament from Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Moldavia and Macedonia signed the initiative of Trans Radical Party for quick step of railway building that will connect these countries. To this initiative, as we are informed by BTA, the members of illegal parliament of Kosova joint to this too.

The radicals of the world, especially the last months are too much present in political life of Bulgaria. In their appeal that implicate sconomic isolation of RSJ, is informed absolutely a strong connection between above-mentioned places with Turkey and republics of ex-Urss.

Underwriters of roll-call go directly to UN and the other institutions of Europe to support their initiative.
