THE MAYOR OF SARAJEVO AND THE MAYOR OF ROME WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE EASTER MARCH OF APRIL 3 TO URGE A MORATORIUM OF EXECUTIONS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PERMANENT INTERNATIONAL COURT.

THE PRESS CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR THIS MORNING AT 12:30 AT THE RADICAL PARTY HEADQUARTERS.

A press conference on the Easter march to urge a moratorium of capital executions and the establishment of a permanent court for crimes against humanity tool places this morning at 12:30 at the Radical Party headquarters.

Sergio D'Elia, coordinator of the "Hands Off Cain" campaign

The objectives of the march are contained in a petition, promoted by the RADICAL PARTY and HANDS OFF CAIN - Citizens' and parliamentarians' campaign for the abolition of the death penalty in the world by the Year 2000 - which will be presented to the Pope by an international delegation consisting of Nobel Prize winners, personalities of the fields of science, parliamentarians, mayors of Italian and European cities, women and men of different religions, on on the occasion of the EASTER MARCH which will finish in St.Peter's Square.

The mayor of Sarajevo is joining the march and the "THERE CAN BE NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE" campaign, and will do his best to allow Sarajevo can participate with its banner; invites the mayors of the Italian cities, of the European cities and of all cities where human rights have been trampled to bring their banners too, to save the multi-ethnic and cosmopolitan Sarajevo, a city of tolerance and freedom, from the ruins of the war and any divisions.

THE MAYOR OF ROME, FRANCESCO RUTELLI, accepted to be part of the promoting committee of the THERE CAN BE NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE campaign, together with the Radical Party, CARITAS DIOCESANA and HANDS OFF CAIN. Rutelli announced his intention of asking the mayors of the Italian and European cities to take part in the Easter march and the committee that organized it.
