Member of the Praesidium of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Italy Mrs. EMMA BONINO
Moscow, July 8, 1994
Dear Mrs. Bonino:
I have read your message with big attention. Really, in several countries at present time - also in CIS countries - the explosive situation is formed, which threatens for the stability of the entire world, and also for the stability in Russia.
Creation of the "There Is No Peace Without Justice" International Committee must become one of the warrants of the international legal order.
In this context I consider that participation of Russian parliamentarians in the work of the Committee is certainly necessary, because activity of the "There Is No Peace Without Justice" Committee will assist for the quickest founding of the International Criminal Court. Naturally, it will serve to the establishment justice and law in the world, and also to the Russian national interests.
Sincerely yours,
Ivan Starikov
deputy of State Duma
