(Moscow, July 26) - The Radical Party's demonstration for democracy in Cuba and for liberation Cubanian political prisoners took place today - on the day of Cubanian Revolution - at 4 PM in front of Cubanian embassy in Moscow (ul. Spiridonovka, 28). Thirteen Radical activists (including Nikolaj Khramov, Anna Morozova, Marina Pozlevic from Vilnius, Olga Antonova, Aleksandr Tenjanov, Eljdar Alukaev, Sergej Bubnov and others) and representatives of Moscow group of Amnesty International manifestoed about 40 minutes with slogans in Russian and Spanish languages: "Democracy For Cuba", "Freedom For Political Prisoners", "Freedom For Francisco Chaviano Gonzales", etc.
The representatives of the embassy refused categorically to receive the demonstrators or even to accept the letter addressed to the ambassador of Cuba in Russian Federation Mr. H.E. Reogelio Montenegro Guasp.
Many journalists were presented during the demonstration. Among them Russian TV news program "Vesti", newspapers Moscow Times and Rossijskie Vesti, Open Radio, Radio Liberty, Cubanian national press agency Prensa Latina, Russian National News Service (NSN) and others. The agents of Cubanian secret service were making a detailed video recording of the manifestation.
It is necessary to note, that half an hour before the Radical manifestation, on the same place the Russian Communist Workers' Party (party of Anpilov) organized a demonstration in support of Castro's regime.
