Yesterday the State Duma approved the third (final) reading of the federal bill "On prevention of spreading in Russia of the disease caused by human immunodeficite virus (HIV)". Foreign citizens as well as people without citizenship coming to Russia for work, study and with other purposes will be subjected to obligatory medical examination. In case of evasion from examination these people will be sent out from this country. At the same time the examination is not voluntary for many Russian citizens. People of certain occupations will also be subjected to obligatory testing for Aids. The list of these occupations will be approved by the government. Later it will be approved every five years or more often as well as the list of different kinds of medical assistance that will be provided only for people who underwent medical examination.
