If you are given free condoms, don't be glad too early. And, which is most important, don't relax. It is not just a friendly and properly men's action. It is rather an invitation to struggle against Aids, the disease taking thousands of human lives. AESOP is called after the first letters of Russian words Effectiveness, Protection, Training, Prophylactics. The active workers from the Aesop center in Moscow (you can see one of them, Magomed Tolboyev, on the photo) organized last Friday an action before the building of the State Duma and demonstrated to its deputies that they were ready to teach everybody (including people's elected representatives) how to do THIS. But this is not the only trouble of Kevin Gardener, the main AESOP figure in Moscow (the left on the picture). He believes that it is time to stop the compulsory Aids testing of foreigners and to start instead real actions aimed at prevention of Aids epidemic in Russia (this is the main slogan of the organizers).
