Coordination Center appeals to the public calling upon to express its opinion on the situation in Chechnya, sending telegrams and letters addressed to the Russian president Boris Yeltsin, as well as by means of other individual and collective actions. The "Memorial" Society reported also, that since December 25 the collecting of signatures under the appeal to the president Yeltsin, demanding "to stop the bloodshed in Chechnya" is initiated.
