MOSCOW. THE RALLY TO PROTEST AGAINST RUSSIAN ACTIONS IN CHECHNYA UNDER SLOGAN "STOP THE BLOODSHED IN CHECHNYA!" TOOK PLACE ON DECEMBER 25, AT 11.00 NEAR THE ENTRANCE TO THE CENTRAL GORKY PARK.(Express-Khronika, Release 1417, December 25, 1994)
The organizers of the rally are "Memorial" Society, other human rights organizations as well as "Democratic Russia" Movement. There were following exponents spoken: Lev Ponomarev, Galina Starovojtova, father Gleb Jakunin, Aleksandr Podrabinek, as well as representatives of the Chechen parliament. The participants of the manifestation passed a resolution. About 4-5 thousands of people have taken part in this action.
