The local analysts connect the closing of radio and TV stations on January 4 with position, taken by them towards the war in Chechnya. The representatives of this companies estimate the conflict in Chechnya as "Russian aggression against Chechnya". According to Mr. Felix Kuperman, director of Radio Vostok, "just in one day, without any explanations, the contracts between above mentioned mass media and technical services providing their broadcasting, were dissolved."
