On Wednesday, January 25, at 10.00 AM members of the Transnational Radical Party together with activists of Committee of Soldiers' Mothers and Youth Anti-Militarist Committee (MAK) will organize lay the wreath on the grave of the Unknown Soldier with following inscription: "To The Soldiers - Victims Of Militarism Since Stalin Till Grachev". This action is dedicated, in particular, to the remembrance of Russian soldiers, thrown to die in Chechnya by the bungling and criminal highest military leadership of Russia.
Two days ago the Radical Party's delegation, composed from Antonio Stango, member of RP Secretariat, and Nikolaj Khramov, member of RP General Council, came back to Moscow from Chechnya. They spent there one week in order to establish direct contacts with group of Russian parliamentarians under the guidance of Sergej Kovalev, as well as in order to obtain direct information in the warfare zone. Also thanks to their mission, on the initiative of Emma Bonino, European Commissioner on humanitarian questions and secretary of Radical Party, the European Union examines now the question about detachment of 5 millions of ECU for humanitarian assistance to the Chechen refugees.
