To support demands of participants of pickets, who organized action of protest in front of Ministry of defence of Russia and demanded to stop the war in Chechnia, a group of Quakers participated in picket on February 23 in front of Martyr Memorial in Oxford. The picket took place since 11:00 till 12:00 local time. The participants carried slogans appealing to establish peace in Chechnia and to provide a right to pass alternative service in Russia because of refuse of military service for reasons of conscience.
