That was declared by the organizer of anti-military manifestation of Radical party, that was carried out on February 23 in Rome at Pantheon square. The action passed with slogans of immediate stopping the bloodshed in Chechnia, condemnation of Russian militarism and a right of citizens to refuse of military service for reasons of conscience. The manifestation was dated for "Motherland Defenders' day" celebrated in Russia that day. "Participants of the manifestation,"-- said its organizer Antonio Stango, member of General Council of RP,-- "has renewed the tradition of non-violence and stretched silently on the ground, symbolizing victims of war in Chechnia by themselves."
