Today, on March 10, the day of 36th anniversary of Tibet national uprising, on 4 P.M., activists of Radical Party in Kiev have come to Chinese embassy on Grushevsky st., 32. Unfortunately, the weather was not very kind: cold rain was falling all the time, and the temperature was about 5 degrees Centigrade. Acceptance of Chinese embassy was not very kind too: during the action, guardians tried to prevent picketing; a special militia squad was called to remove participants of the picket from the fence of the embassy.

In spite of all those difficulties, action was held well: the letter addressed to Chairman of People's Republic of China (PRC) was submitted to a representative of PRC in Ukraine (incoming No. 37/95 of 10/03/95) in which activists of Radical Party appealed to China to stop occupation of Tibet.

SAVE TIBET!

FREEDOM FOR TIBET!

STOP GENOCIDE IN TIBET!

CHINA, GET OUT OF TIBET!

STOP NUCLEAR TESTING IN TIBET!

FOR UN CONFERENCE ON CHINESE-TIBETAN RELATIONS

WE ARE ON HUNGER STRIKE IN SOLIDARITY WITH TIBETAN PEOPLE

Alone with activists of Radical Party who came to Grushevsky st., 11 people from Kiev supported the action by taking part in hunger strike of protest to support the initiative "To Save Tibet". Two of those activists (Inna Gavriliuk and Bogdan Kalitenko) are on eighth day of the hunger strike.
