PARIS, June 6 (Reuter) - French Prime Minister Alain Juppe demanded on Tuesday the immediate and unconditional release of all U.N. peacekeepers held hostage in Bosnia and warned rebel Bosnian Serb leaders they would be held personally responsible. In a statement to parliament, Juppe said the Bosnian Serbs had entered a "suicidal impasse" by holding more than 250 U.N. soldiers, including more than 100 Frenchmen, prisoner.
