(Cheljabinsk, June 24) - Public assembly of A.R.A. has been organized today in the plenary hall of Cheljabinsk city council on Ploscad Revoljucii, with participation of Nikolaj Khramov, secretary of A.R.A. who was in the city with one-day visit.

The assembly was presided by Ljudmila Zinchenko, member of A.R.A. provisional coordination council and chairwoman of local Association of Soldiers' Mothers. About 50 persons have taken part in the assembly, mainly members of Association of Soldiers' Mothers. Nikolaj Khramov spoke in his intervention about run of the petition campaign for conscientious objection right, against militarism, about the nearest goals of the campaign and - first of all - about importance of new enrollments to the Radical Party and A.R.A. which only would make possible successful anti-militarist campaign in Russia.

During the assembly 21 persons enrolled A.R.A. as adherents and 2 - as members. Practically all of new adherents declared about their intention to join also Radical Party since they will gain the money necessary for it (36,000 rubles).

Cheljabinsk, a 1.5 million city, is located in 2,000 km to the east from Moscow. A powerful promotory group of the petition campaign for conscientious objection right, against militarism which acts in the city has collected almost 1/3 of the total amount of 4,500 signatures collected till now in Russia.
