Moscow, August 8, 1995 - The decision to organize the Ten-day Mobilization for Bosnia from 12 to 22 of August was taken on the reunion held by a group of Radical members as well as members and adherents of the Anti-militarist Radical Association (A.R.A.) in Moscow office of the Radical Party with participation of Nikolaj Khramov, Radical coordinator in Russia and secretary of A.R.A.; Valentin Oskockij, writer and member of Amnesty Commission by Russian president; Vitalij Bogdanov, director of Express Chronicle human rights news agency; Mihail Chertilov, member of General Council of the Esperanto Radikala Asocio (E.R.A.) and more than dozen of other activists of the R.P. and A.R.A.
The Ten-day Mobilization will start on Saturday, August 12, at 4.00 PM when Radical activists will install on Pushkin square in Moscow a street table to collect signatures of citizen under the appeal for the immediate adhesion of Bosnia to the European Union, as well as funds to finance this international campaign of the Radical Party.
During ten days, from 12 to 21 of August included the collection of signatures will be held every day.
On Tuesday, August 22, at 11.00 AM will take place the demonstration in front of the mission of the Commission of European Communities in Moscow (Astahovskij per. 2/10) for immediate adhesion of Bosnia to the U.E., for intervention of international community in order to defend population and territorial integrity of Bosnia, for punishment of war criminals Karadzic, Mladic and Milosevic, as well as for democracy and peace for Serbs. During the action all the signatures collected during previous days, will be handed over to the "embassy of Europe".
The appeal for adhesion of Bosnia to the European Union initiated by Radical Party two months ago, has been signed till now by several thousands of citizens of different countries of the world, among them by more than 500 members of parliaments of 33 states (including Russian State Duma) and 87 members of European Parliament.
The participants of the reunion issued an appeal addressed to Radical members and supporters, to political parties, democratic, anti-war and human rights movements and organizations, as well as to intellectuals, personalities of science and culture, where in particular it is stated: <> Authors of the appeal underline that their position at any rate is not an anti-Serbian one: <> The appeal calls to join the Ten-day Mobilization for Bosnia declared by Moscow Radicals.The Radical Party - a transnational and trans-divisional cross-party organization - is a non-governmental organization registered by the United Nations with the consultative statute of the 1st category.
