Congratulations to our Italian friends of ARE, whose initiative gave a good support to the struggle for the affirmation of Esperanto in Italy.Let me just add a very few objections.
The Cross it is not a symbol for a very big share of inhabitants of the planet. The struggle for the affirmation of an international language is a struggle for the affirmation of an internaitonal and cross-national language. As far as I know a lot of Esperanto speakers are not religious, neither they are Christian or Roman Catholic.
It is true, on the other hand, that the Italian public is deeply influenced by Christian and Roman Catholic values. In Italy.
Then, I fergot what Via Crucis means. Is it a Latin Phrase? Does it mean that Latin is the new language choosen by supporters of an international language?
Well, let's extend Latin studies in the Italian primary schools... In Italy, at least.
Italy....
