Refugee crisis news
EU Commissioner for humanitarian aid, Emma Bonino, the head
of the Croatian Office for Displaced Persons and Refugees,
Adalbert Rebic and the Croatian President's advisor on
humanitarian issues, Dr Slobodan Lang, travelled to the
Croatian town of Davor on the Sava River's left bank
yesterday. They visited the refugee centre and talked with
the town's mayor. So far more than 11,300 evicted people
left the Banja Luka area during the last wave of refugees
and entered Croatia. The mayor told them that according to
reports from Srbac (near-by Serb-held Bosnian town) another
12,000 Croats and 4,000 Muslims are expected to flee the
Banja Luka area toward Croatia.
