for the adoption of Conscientious Objection Bill in Russia

PRESS CONFERENCE

OF THE ANTI-MILITARIST RADICAL ASSOCIATION

will take place in Moscow

on Thursday, November 8, 1995, at 1.00 PM

in Russian American Press & Information Center

In the press conference will be participating:

- Nikolaj KHRAMOV, secretary of the Anti-militarist Radical Association (ARA):

- Valerij BORSCEV, member of the State Duma ("Jabloko" group), member of the parliamentarian committee on religious organizations and public unions, member of the Provisional Coordination Council of ARA;

- Sergej SOROKIN, coordinator of Conscientious Objectors and Deserters Aid Program conducted by ARA.

During the press conference the signatures under the Radical Party's and ARA's appeal "For Conscientious Objection Right, Against Militarism", which were collected in different Russian regions and which one day later will be presented to the members of the State Duma.
