With reference to your letter from 13th of September 1995, on behalf of the population of Chisinau - capital of the Republic of Moldova - and me personally I would like to express my solidarity and full support to the international campaign you have initiated.

I share your opinion that Tibetan people is in danger and we must prevent its disappearance. As Mayor of the City I will try to inform by all available means the city population about this international campaign and about the situation in Tibet. I sincerely hope that our joint efforts will be crowned with success.
