Yesterday, December the 11th, there was held the demostration for freedom for Tibet on the Wenceslas Square in Prague. It was organized by a group of people who are planning to form a new Tibet Support Group in the Czech Republic. They set up the civic petition asking UN to appeal to Chinese government to respect human rights in Tibet and its cultural patrimony. They decided also to appeal the Czech government to assume negative position to Chinese occupation of Tibet. Radicals took part in this action with a big banner "Freedom for Tibet - Satyagraha 96" and they were invited to have a speech about the Radical Party s initiatives on Tibet.

Today newspapers brought the reports about this demonstration, MF Dnes - most spread and popular daily - published on its 4th page even a big snap.
