Karadzic ends "state of war" except for Sarajevo

PALE, Bosnia, Dec 15 (Reuter) - Bosnian Serb "president"

Radovan Karadzic formally ended the state of war on

Bosnian Serb territory on Friday but excluded the disputed

Serb sectors of Sarajevo. The Bosnian Serb news agency

SRNA said the status of the Serb areas of the capital, which

are due to revert to Bosnian government control under the

peace agreement, would be announced later.
