The Transnational Radical Party, together with the Tibet Support Groups and the Tibetan communities in exile, is preparing a general demonstration within the Americas in support of the Freedom for Tibet Campaign.

With a change of strategy, it has been decided in the US, like in Europe, to consolidate the initiatives. All Tibet Support Groups and sympathizers of the Tibetan cause within the Americas will converge for three days in Washington on the 9th of March.

The program will begin with the Tibet Conference of the Americas, featuring the participation, among others, of Samdong RIMPOCHE, President of the Tibetan Parliament in exile; Harry WU, well-known Chinese dissident; the Professor LUTTWAK; Nancy PELOSI, Congressional representative; and Charlie ROSE.

On the tenth, a large demonstration in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington will be held, whereby that night, the March for the Freedom of Tibet will depart. Passing through dozens and dozens of cities, the March will arrive in New York on the 25th of April where it will culminate in a demonstration in front of the UN.
