The Interdisciplinar Antidrug Commission has a new chairman: the Czech Prime Minister Vaclav Klaus. The members of this Commission, which is made to be resposible for the drug policy of Czech Republic, will 4 Ministers: J.Ruml, Interior Minister, J.Novak, Minister of Justice, J. Strasky, Minister of Health Care and I.Pilip, Minister of Education. They agreed about creating harder punishment. "We do not want to make any liberalizing step", said Vaclav Klaus after the session where this new model of the Commission was created.

This week there will be the second reading of the amendment of the Criminal Law in the Czech Parliament. This amendment would punish even those who hold the drug or narcotic matter. During last several weeks there was a huge discussion on it in medias (mainly negative for aproval of the amendment).
