SOLIDARITY ADDRESS TO THE MANIFESTATION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN TIBET

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of ETUC (European Trade-Union Confederation) I express my full solidarity with your initiative to draw the attention of the European public and the European Institutions on the rights situation in Tibet. International pressure on China must be continued and reinforced. The European Union, its institutions and the EU-Member States must be challenged to put the Tibet question on the agenda of economic and political relations with the Republic of China.
