Chinese Foreign Minister Qian Qichen will visit the Czech

Republic later this month for the first top-level Beijing visit

since a series of disputes over Prague's relations with Taiwan.

Qian will meet President Vaclav Havel, Foreign Minister Josef

Zieleniec and other ministers during the April 20-22 visit.

Qian and Czech officials are likely to discuss Asian and

European affairs, developments in China and the Czech Republic

and business cooperation.
